A Momentous Islamic Cultural Complex at ICCBC
A proposed school for Muslim children and prayer hall for significant prayer congregations are two prominent features of the ICCBC complex, providing a peaceful place for the Muslim community to fulfill our religious obligations. The ICCBC will offer various services to meet the Muslim community's spiritual, educational, and social needs. Some of these services will include daily and Friday congregational prayers, religious education for children and adults, and classes on Quranic studies, Islamic history, and Arabic. It will be a center for religious counseling and spiritual guidance. The ICCBC complex will be capable of holding social and cultural events, such as Eid celebrations, community potlucks, lectures, and programs for Muslim youth. Charity and community service programs will be organized and held here, such as food drives and disaster relief.

The ICCBC is conceived to be a focal point for the local Muslim community and the Muslim community at large in the region. Providing facilities for youth recreation, child care centre for parents, a full-time school, and also providing accommodations for elderly care living, the like of which we do not presently have for those of our Muslim seniors who require such care. The ICCBC Complex will be at the heart of community building, providing quality spaces to meet the needs of all age groups who come to pray, learn, socialize and grow together.
Our aim is to create an Islamic cultural centre for BC that provides much needed and required services to the local Muslim community. We consider it a vital social responsibility. It aligns with Islamic values for nurturing community, and it also provides for an environment for spiritual nourishment and development, for the present and the future. For those of us here now and those of us who will be here in the future.
Supporting the construction of this multi-purpose complex is an investment in our community's present and future. It will not just accommodate the many current needs of the Muslim community; young and old, men or women, but it will also lay the foundations for a cultural and religious centre for Muslims in BC.
The presence of a landmark Islamic centre will not just be a reassuring sight for Muslims who live in its proximity but it will also serve as a center of engagement for the wider community. It can become a point of reference and welcome to all those looking to engage with their Muslim neighbors and Islam in general. The importance of a multipurpose prayer hall, and added facilities within the proposed ICCBC compound, can not be overestimated. It will empower the Muslim family and provide a much needed center for community and social activities, in addition to prayer and worship and all other religious obligations.
While we spend much of our lives in pursuit of worldly rewards and recognitions, there is a much bigger and better reward lying in wait for all of us who are willing to work and spend in the path that we've been guided towards by Allah SWT. To earn blessings and rewards in this path has been made easy for us and we must avail all the opportunities we get to gain the pleasure of All Mighty Allah. And as we prepare for what lies beyond this life at the same time we are contributing towards our family, friends, neighbors and community. It is a purpose towards fulfilment and inner peace, to contribute towards a project that will impact us all.
Our vision to have childcare on site for parents and a long-term care facility for elders will provide critical social services for families and individuals, especially those who need the help and support. There is a pressing need for such care in the present and it will only grow in the future. Along with helping the community in general it will provide vital support to our most vulnerable members. It will provide significant positive impact on the lives of the young and old alike.
By supporting the ICCBC complex, you will be helping to create a positive energy within the Muslim community, the impact and effects of which will be felt beyond. Whether looking after our youth or supporting our elders in times when they become most vulnerable, it is a duty that falls on all of us. Guiding and nurturing our young and providing stress-free and dignified care for the older members of our community is a purpose and trust we should all be eager to bear. In addition to providing care for our community, the ICCBC mission is to preserve and promote Islamic culture, history and values. To be a confident and compassionate voice for the Muslim community. We will also strive to serve as a place for education and learning for our non-Muslim brothers and sisters, by offering classes and workshops related to Islam and its place in this world.

The Architectural Renderings of Project Buildings
This project includes a Jamia Masjid, Muslim Youth Activity Center, Child Care Facility and a Seniors Home Building for muslim community members of greater Vancouver.

Facilities Planned at ICCBC Grounds
A School, Recreation Facilities for Youth and Families & A Multipurpose Community Centre
A school of standard and stature for Muslim children is one of the primary focus of the ICCBC project and complex. Through community dialogue and consultation we are working to establish a place of learning for children that Muslim families will feel encouraged and confident about enrolling their children for primary and secondary education.
A multi-purpose community center will also be part of this complex and provide several key benefits. First, it will provide a central location for Muslim community members to gather and participate in physical, cultural, and religious activities. Additionally, it will be a center for education and facilitate social services to community members, especially those in need. Furthermore, such centers will promote integration and understanding between different communities and be a place for non-Muslims to learn more about Islam and the Muslim culture. Overall, this community center will play a vital and immeasurable role in creating a stronger and better connected community.
Elderly Care
Building an elderly care accommodation for Muslims in BC, will provide a safe and comfortable living environment for potentially many senior members of the Muslim community. The type of long term care some seniors may otherwise not have access to. It can have significant beneficial impact on the lives of many elderly Muslims. Please join our efforts to help build such a care facility and donate to our project to help us raise the funds needed to do this project and mission justice. Childcare Centre
A childcare facility for Muslims will help Muslim parents by providing a safe and nurturing environment for their children that aligns with their religious beliefs and values. This will include providing halal food, accommodating the children according to Islamic customs, and providing Islamic education and religious instructions.
Additionally, having staff familiar with and respectful of Muslim culture and practices will provide peace of mind for Muslim parents concerned about their children being exposed to practices or values that may conflict with their own.
